German Peace Movement meets His Excellency, The German Ambassador in Negara Brunei Darussalam
The German philosophical Peace Movement is on another preliminary journey for the WORLD TOUR for PEACE, which begins in 2021. Vision Peace Foundation Germany e.V. is organizing a Peace Journey, during which for two years more than 100 people will travel to more than 100 countries around the world and host congresses, talks and seminars focusing on peace.
One of these countries will be Negara Brunei Darussalam.
In advance of the trip to Brunei, two delegates of the German peace movement visited Mrs. Hanafiah at the Bruneian Embassy in Berlin – Germany.
In Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei’s capital, a meeting with His Excellency, German ambassador, Mr. Peter Hermann Wolff, provides the opportunity to present the vision of worldwide peace.
Dialogue on the vision of worldwide peace
The exchange with His Excellency focuses on philosophical deduction of peace: Peace is an eternal value inherent in all living beings: human beings, animals and nature. This understanding of peace is neither political, nor religious or cultural.
For human beings it is about discovering this peace within themselves on their own path of recognition. If man aligns his thinking to peace and feels peace within himself, he can express this peaceful “thinkfeeling” in an act of peace.
Preservation and protection of animals and nature is an example of peace in action. Brunei’s efforts in this area have led to the existence of the oldest intact rainforest in the world.
