Cognitive and Intuitive education create sustainable peace

Today’s young people are the conscious and responsible bearers of a sustainable peace society of tomorrow. Children and young people are supported by the principle of responsibility rather than the principle of achievement. From the Light Awareness Philosophy, a new peace pedagogy emerges, which finds its expression in light schools.

Through holistic relationships and education, the students receive a broad professional and spiritual education. They practice in a learning environment that is oriented towards the search for truth and thus fulfils an extended humane teaching ethic beyond any cultures and religions. The light school accompanies children and young people to their highest potential through the principle of “challenge, support and find”. Their free spiritual, soul and physical development is made possible. Educators at light schools are companions for the highest possible development of adolescents. By challenging, the inner calling, the longing, for the universality, is perceived by the pupils. The inner potential is revealed.

Supporting is the support in becoming aware of their potential. Children and adolescents are instructed to continually take on new perspectives on themselves and the world around them, which extend them spiritually, deepen them soulfully and make them feel alive. Finding their own vocation and finding their place in society, form their personality, which is oriented towards the ideal principle of a light society. Recognizing light educators strengthen the pupils in courage, endurance, openness towards autonomous learning in self-responsibility, self-confidence and self-love.

The educational task of the Light Schools is holistic and based on four equivalent pillars:
1. Scientific, cognitive and subject-specific education
Natural sciences and technical education are always up to date and show that life is a constant development. Languages from all continents are taught by native speakers.

2. Natural and life-practical education
A broad field of experience and discover is offered in a wide variety of areas. Gardening, nutrition theory, nature and animal experiences and all visual arts are accessible to all students.

3. Philosophical and spiritual education
This point is essential for personal development towards a life in strength, health, connectedness and high-level performance. Without this knowledge man lives in many dependencies, is not aware of himself and has no “tools” to consciously create his life. Light Awareness Philosophy, Light Yoga and Meditation by David Wared are part of the daily curriculum.
